Southport Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce has an exciting lineup of special events for the public including the Christmas by the Sea Parade, Coastal Consumer Showcase, Southern Cape Fear Bridal Showcase, Oak Island Lighthouse 5k, 10k and Half Marathon, Phlock to the Beach Concert, Phlock to the Beach Art on the Apron, U.S. Open King Mackerel Tournament, N.C. 4th of July Festival and Southport Oak Island Golf Classic.


Southport Oak Island Golf Classic

The Southport-Oak Island Area Golf Classic is a fundraising golf tournament for the Chamber held annually, the first Saturday in May. Held at the Oak Island Golf & Country Club. A four-person captain’s choice format.
