Foodies everywhere, make sure you have marked your calendar for the inaugural Forks, Corks & Kegs Southport-Oak Island Area Restaurant Week will be held October 15th thru October 21 in 2018.
As of September 27th, here is who will be participating:
Bella Cucina, Blue Cow Grille, Dry Street Pub & Pizza,Fish House Restaurant, Mr P's Bistro, Ports of Call Bistro, Shagger Jacks of Oak Island, Southport Cheese Shoppe, Southport Smoke House, The Grape & Ale, Tropical Smoothie Cafe', Tranquil Harbour Restaurant & Bar & Uncorked by the Sea.
The Inaugural 2018 Southport-Oak Island Area Restaurant Week – Forks, Corks & Kegs will be held October 15 thru October 21. This week will give diners in our area an extra incentive to go out because participating restaurants will be offering at least ONE of these options that week:
- Special menu items only offered during Fall Restaurant Week
- Special price points
- Pre-fixed dining options including multiple courses – offered at one price point
Restaurant Weeks are extremely successful all over North Carolina. Chefs tend to enjoy the week because it allows them to be creative and come up with special menus to test.
Southport-Oak Island Area Restaurant Week is an event of the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by The State Port Pilot, Oak Island Accommodations, Margaret Rudd & Associates, Inc., REALTORS and Southport Magazine. “The Chamber picked this week because it is typically a slower time for most dining establishments, and we hope to increase business through this event” said Karen Sphar, Executive Vice President of the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce.
