Showcase Highlights the Best in Local Products & Services for 6th Year.

The 6th annual Coastal Consumer Showcase was held at the St.James Community Center on Thursday, March 3rd.  The Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce created the Coastal Consumer Showcase to showcase the business community while giving residents a one stop shop to see the variety of quality products and services available to them locally.  The business community has responded to this opportunity and for the 6th year in a row the show booths sold out and a second room of vendors was added with a total of 65 businesses represented.  Residents have responded as well with over 500 people attend this year’s show.  Linda Gagnon of Winnabow was the lucky winner ...

The second seminar in a three-part series called Shop Talks was held on March 17th at the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce.   The series is designed to be a conversation to recharge, revitalize, and refocus your business. 35 SBMS Students Recognized as Good Neighbors

Friday morning (March 18th), faculty and staff of South Brunswick Middle School along with staff & members of the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce gathered to honor 35 students who act as "Good Neighbors" in their school as well as their community.
