Southport Tea house Hosts April Coffee with the Girls

Ladies from the Chamber gathered at the Southport Tea House for our monthly "Coffee with the Girls." It was a relaxing morning filled with delicious scones, hot tea & wonderful company! If you weren't able to make it today, next month's Coffee with the Girls will once again be hosted by the Southport Tea House on May 17th @ 8:00am with speaker Robin Weir of Wild By Nature on Floral Arranging - you wont want to miss it!

John & Sheila Barbee opened Dry Street Pub & Pizza in the Spring of 1996 after renovating a house leased from family and later purchased. A family run business, you will frequently see their son Mike Barbee along with their two daughters Grace & Sarah Barbee helping out in the business alongside long time staff members Ashley Kincaide and Rich Lennox.

Over the years, they have built a loyal clientele through their use of fresh ingredients in their homemade cuisine, while providing great customer service in a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Carolinas Connect Realty Hosts April BNAH

A beautiful spring evening greeted the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce members as they attended the Business Networking After Hours last week hosted by Carolinas Connect Realty - "Connecting you to the Carolinas". Thank you Jack and Dana Hamilton for being such gracious hosts.

During the BNAH, Carolinas Connect Realty also gave a donation to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's 1st Annual 5k Run/Walk to Break The Silence on Ovarian Cancer - to be held on May 15th at St. James Plantation.
