CFF² Kids Opens to serve the children of Brunswick County.CFF² Kids is owned by Carysa Overcash and Eric Lescault. Together, they opened Cape Fear Fitness in 2008. In its 8 years in business, CFF has grown to over 900 members. Carysa and Eric recognized a need for a facility to accommodate the youth of this area and decided to open CFF² Kids in 2016. Dr. Azzato shared his holistic treatment approach which is treating each patient on an individual basis and exploring all non-evasive yet efficient courses of treatment before surgery. It was a relaxing morning filled with hot & iced tea, coffee, wonderful company and some tips on floral decorating! Our speaker this month was Robin Weir of Wild By Nature.  Wild by Nature is a full service florist specializes in unique and creative designs using the freshest flowers flown in from around the world. Robin demonstrated the art of making a beautiful floral arrangement. Southport-Oak Island Golf Classic Held at OKI Golf Club Saturday

The Southport-Oak Island Golf Classic, an annual fundraising event for the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce, was held at Oak Island Golf & Country Club on Saturday May 7
th. Both members and non-members hit the links to network and unwind in a relaxed atmosphere.


This year’s tournament brought nearly 100 golfers to the island in support of their local chamber of commerce. Close to $2,000 in cash was awarded to the top two flights and additional prizes were given out for closest to the pin awards on all par-3’s.

During the third installment of Shop Talks we discussed how to be the best business owner for your company and your clients. As business owners, we are often challenged with not just making a sale, but making the sale to someone who actually needs our product or service. Determining exactly what your customer needs, fulfilling that need, and then following up should be the start of an on-going conversation between you and your client.
