Southport Oak Island Chamber of Commerce-Welcome Center Business Networking After Hours was a great time to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening from Hurricane Recovery at Oak Island Accommodations, 8901 E. Oak Island Drive on Oak Island. The offices are just beautiful! You can tell OIA is in the hospitality business. Southport Oak Island Chamber of Commerce-Welcome Center Coffee with the Girls met at the Southport NC Habitat for Humanity Restore this morning for an informative meeting with a little shopping thrown in for good measure. The Office Coffee and Wine Bar hosted this month's Southport Oak Island Chamber of Commerce-Welcome Center Coffee with the Girls last week. Coffee with the Girls is a great way to network with other women in the business community. It is held the third Tuesday of each month at 8am in varies locations. NC Safe Plates for Food Safety Managers is a food safety certification course developed by North Carolina State University. Food service managers successfully completing the exam meet the 2013 FDA Food Code requirement for an ANSI (American National Standards Institution) approved Certified Food Protection Manager.
