Brunswick Civil War Round Table
Tuesday, November 5th: Carolyn Evans, a New York actress will perform what is considered a “histo-drama,” a one-woman show portraying Harriet Tubman, an American abolitionist, political activist, and one of the most heroic women in America. Tubman was known most notably for her involvement in the Underground Railroad, rescuing slaves via a network of antislavery activists and safe houses. Brunswick Civil War Round Table meetings take place at Hatch Auditorium on Caswell Beach on the first Tuesday of the month. Everyone is welcome. Registration and refreshments usually begin at 6:15PM. Programs start at 7:00PM. The visitor fee is $10, and can be applied toward the $25 annual membership dues.
