Dosher Plans “Virtual” Celebration for 90th Anniversary
Tuesday June 2nd will mark the 90th anniversary of Dosher Memorial Hospital, which opened as Brunswick County Hospital on June 2nd, 1930, and later changed its name in memory of its founding physician Dr. J. Arthur Dosher. With respect to current restrictions on large gatherings, hospital leaders will commemorate this milestone by holding a 15 minute Facebook Live broadcast from the hospital lobby to share a few brief remarks on Dosher’s past, present, and future with the community, from a safe distance. A short speaker program will be followed by musical performances from Juantana Frink and Grace Heck. Join the anniversary celebration on June 2nd at 5:00pm by going to: https://www.facebook.com/DosherMemorialHospital/ Dosher is a public, not for profit community hospital and the only independent critical access hospital in North Carolina.
