The Art Gallery is the home of the Associated Artists of Southport, a non-profit organization dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the community. The building itself is worth the trip, built as a school in 1904 but served as City Hall & library.
The historic Amuzu is a family owned theatre located in Southport, NC. It operated as a movie theater from 1917-1980, and is now a popular venue for concerts. Rents for special occasions as well.
The Odell Williamson Auditorium is a state-of-the-art 1,500-seat performing arts facility. Built at a cost of more than three million dollars by the citizens of Brunswick County, it exists for the multipurpose educational and cultural enrichment.
